Kyoto is the central piece of the Kansai collection, exploring the horizontality and lightness present in Japanese architecture through continuous planes and precise proportions. The beveled tabletop visually softens the thickness of the solid stone, creating a quieter and lighter presence within space.
The supports originate from the same formal language present throughout the collection, but are reorganized in different positions to create new visual relationships depending on the viewpoint. Sculpted from solid stone through CNC carving and hand-finished, Kyoto transforms the dining table into a serene and balanced architectural presence.
